Rihanna Has Photo Shoot At Abu Dhabi Mosque, Gets Kicked Out

Rihanna has been traveling the world while on her Diamonds World Tour, and she's been documenting all her adventures on her Instagram account. Recently that included posing with a slow loris in Thailand, as well as with safari animals in South Africa, and a photo shoot in Abu Dhabi.

Rihanna loves her photo shoots, and usually she's scantily clad in them, but for shoot at a mosque in Abu Dhabi, Rihanna covered up as is appropriate in a Burka-styled outfit, and the mosque was not pleased.

Staff at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque reportedly asked the famous pop star to leave because her photo shoot was against the sanctity of the mosque.

The mosque, which is the largest in UAE, released a statement concerning the incident although they did not name Rihanna, but referred to a 'singer.'

"In the event of behavior that violates the moral codes of access to the mosque, or other visit regulations – such as taking inappropriate pictures, posing in ways that are improper in the context of sacred place, talking loudly, or eating – the violators are directed in a polite manner that reflects the civilizational and tolerant attributes of Islam. Here, the Centre refers to a recent incident, involving a singer who came for a private visit to the mosque, at a gate that is not reserved for visitors, without prior coordination with the Centre’s management and without identifying herself."

The statement says that the singer "left without entering the mosque, after being asked to do so, due to the fact that she had taken some pictures that do not conform with the conditions and regulations put in place by the Centre’s management to regulate visits in a way that takes the status and sanctity of the mosque into consideration."

All this didn't stop Rihanna from posting all the flicks of herself on Instagram, although she caught a lot of criticism for the photos from fans and followers.
