Drake Threatens YOLO Polos Maker

Drake has addressed a new line of shirts inspired by his Y.O.L.O (You Only Live Once) movement and what repercussions the designer should expect if they meet in person.

According to Drake, he is still waiting on his order to be fulfilled by the mysterious company.

Yo, to the guy that sells the YOLO Polos, I bought five YOLO Polos and you never sent them to my house. If I ever see you, I’m gonna have to put them hands on you. I’m wearing a Cartier ring, it is gonna hurt when you see me. Straight up. … Yeah, I’m a bitter customer. What is the guy’s PayPal account? Do we have his PayPal information? Because I would have been wearing it right now. That’s a classic.” (“The Angie Martinez Show”)

Buzz behind the overnight shirts started building across the Internet last week.
Designers draw inspiration from many things, especially pop culture. In 2013, internet inhabitants got their fair share of laughs thanks to witty memes starring the year’s biggest headline-makers.

Aside from dishing out good music, Drake, Miguel and Jay Z have been spotted in some awkward situations, prompting the creation of viral memes. Drake and his Dada suit were caught in a backstep during his “No New Friends” video shoot, Miguel let his leg adorn the neck of a female fan during an unintentional Billboard Awards body slam, and Jay Z awkwardly dove off the side of a yacht and into the sea.

The memes worked their way from Instagram feeds and onto various polo shirts from a the cleverly named new clothing company, Drake Yolo Polo. So far, three shirt designs are available, priced for $25 each. (VIBE)
